L'Esprit Couvent Clairet

Esprit Couvent Clairet 2013Grapes : 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

Soil :  Clay and loam

Winemaking :
Clairet is produced by taking 15% of the juice from a vat of red wine after it has been there with skins present for 24 to 48 hours. This juice is then fermented at low temperatures.

Production : 3000 bottles

Preservation : 2 to 3 years

Alcohol :
12.00%

Degustation :
With colours deeper than those of a typical rosé wine, the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon give this wine a rich and long taste with pleasant notes of  fruits like strawberry and cherry.

To drink : This wine is best served chilled and is perfect for summer as well as other seasons accompanying exotic dishes or grilled meats.
